What is the “American Classic” style of belly dance similar to?
I recently contacted a teacher who told me that she teaches mostly American Classic styles.
Is that the same as American Cabaret?
If not, what is it similar to?
I would think that American Classic style would be the same, or very similar to, American Cabaret. I’ve seen some American fusion styles of belly dance. Perhaps it is more traditional, rather than a fusion-style of belly dance.
